Toy Safety in our town
Town Square Toys is a not just a store that sells toys, we are family. We are collectively the parents of 7 children and care very much about the safety of the toys with which our children and your children play. With all of the reports in the news lately about unsafe toys being pulled from shelves and low quality merchandise from certain manufacturing plants in China, we knew that we needed to take action. We have been in contact with all of our toy manufacturers and have asked them to provide us with information on their toys and the safety measures they have in place. We are proud to report that every toy in our store has met or exceeded the standards laid out by the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (website). For information about current toy recalls, please visit their recall information page here. Other information that we think should be passed along will be posted on our blog site for your reference. Please check back there often to see all of our posts on this subject. Armed with this information, shop with confidence from our intentional selection knowing that the toys you buy for your loved ones are safe and free from dangerous defects.
